Is biochemistry a good major to become a patent attorney?

If so, is it recommended to obtain a master’s degree, or should I be fine with just a bachelor’s degree?
Also, where are the hot spots where patent attorneys are needed?
I am willing to live pretty much anywhere.
Or would bioengineering be an even better major to consider?
