Defense rests in BART police murder trial

On Tuesday, defense attorney Michael Rains rested their case in the murder trial of former BART officer Johannes Mehserle. Cephus “Bobby” Johnson believes that the case is still strong agains Johannes Mehserle for at least 2nd degree murder primarily because his story about confusing his gun for TASER came much later after the incident. He never explained to any police officer or to and BART officials that he made a mistake.
