Former Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy, Chu Vue and three others face murder charges in the death of state correctional officer Steven Lo, who was the lover of Vue’s wife’s. Lo was shot as he left for work in the driveway of his South Sacramento home. Vue’s brothers, Chong and Gary, were arrested in Minnesota on an unrelated homicide. Sacramento dectectives went to Minnesota to follow up on their investigation and interviewed the brothers. A friend was also charged in the murder of Lo. Vue had been previously arrested for possessing an unregistered assault rifle and for accessing the Sheriff’s department computers to find information about Lo so he could plot a time to murder the correctional officer.
