Wow, this guy was his Defense lawyer? Talk about railroading a guy. Man i wish Texas would secede. Also for a lawyer he sounds like he was struggling to read that report. He probably doesn’t even understand it.
So my ruling ? Garbage in garbage out. They should keep the death penalty and get a set of verifiable standards up and in place and stop with the my expert said / your expert said That is what the New Yorker and the courts and those cow punching complex business law trying lawyers should be looking at.
by his own admission ). The comment that nine appellate courts heard that procedure was followed holds no more water than 6 experts THINK / THOUGHT something else. And Anderson Cooper is a ratings whore and that speaks for itself. And American justice is simply a commodity that can be bought and sold. More money more justice. And justice is defined as a ruling that supports your particular point of view.
The Germans invented something c all ISO and people say its a measure of quality , its not, its a measure of verifiable credentials and credibility derived therefrom. Both sides should try the German paradigm. Look it up on the web and save me a lot of painful typing. Wiki should have something.I dont see any objective measures. I dont believe a newspaper reporter whatever his politics any more then I believe a small time Texas lawyer that has tried many complex business cases more >
Having watched the video but not having read the reports I dont find Anderson Cooper particularly believable and the other guy is a lawyer.I read the New Yorker article a long time ago and the problem with the New Yorker is the same problem with a religious fanatic. Its not a dispassionate. Its a foaming at the mouth cater to the young, democrat left / liberal change the world tonight because I said so clique and everything is black or white crew. Great cartoons though. More >
What an idiot.
It makes you wonder if the fix was in with this attorney. I have read that the trial lasted two days. Listening to this guy is just shocking, sickening and horrifying.
That attorney should not be practicing ever again! What a total moron!
Remind me not to get this guy asmy defense attorney. Geez!
